I ask to my wholesaler for it. They told me CCTE manual is only available for course purchases.

This is correct - it is part of the CCTE Courseware that includes Trainer and Student material.

That doesn't seem to be the case. I logged into a User Center account with no special permissions (i.e. not a reseller or Check Point partner) and I was able to add the CCTE ebook to my cart at catalog.checkpoint.com. The purchase will still need to go through a reseller via the quote mechanism, but any Check Point reseller should be able to order it:

Afaik this will only be delivered to CP Training Partners - i fear you will get no valid quote for it.

Hi, I know this is a specialist exam, is there any prerequisite certification before taking this exam such as CCSE ? Can I take this on my way to CCSM ?

Prerequisites: "Advanced knowledge of Check Point Security products"

At a high level the recommended order would be CCSE > CCTE > CCSM

Not withstanding considerable hands-on experience and another specialization exam is required to achieve CCSM so you may opt to do the CCTA prior.

Thank you for the insight Chris. I just found the attached Check Point Learning & Training FAQ, it seems after CCSE, CCTE would be appropriate to take since CCVS is still quite New. Not sure about Maestro.

Of the 75 questions, how many do you have to get right? Why is this test not available in other languages, only in English?

The passing score is 70%. Only the core exams (CCSA, CCSE) have been translated into other languages yet.

In the CCSE there were 100 questions. From what I read the CCTE is 75 questions, is that right?

Prerequisites are CCSA, CCSE.

Or depending on comfort level / experience:

CCTA is recommended after CCSA

CCTE is recommended after CCSE.
