R80 CCSE with expired R80 CCSA

Hello everybody,

I'm a little bittel confused about the prerequisites to get the CCSE certification. I got an CCSA R80 certification, which expired in 04/2021. Could I wrote the R80 CCSE exam with my expired CCSA or first recertify the CCSA?

In Check Point Learning & Training FAQ it seems, I need to recertify:

I just recently did a new CCSE with very long expired CCSA as well as long expired CCSE and it is valid, so i think you need not to fear anything 8)

Hi, that means, you were already CCSE certified in the past? Then we have a different situation 😅

Ralf,

You qualify to sit the R80 CCSE with your expired R80 CCSA. You do not have to recertify the R80 CCSA.
