is Watch Tower supported in Spark 1600 appliances?

One of my clients complains that after migrating from 1590 to a 1600 the Watch Tower apps is not supported.

Quote my client: ": Trying to connect the 1600 appliance apps to the watchtower but it displays "The gateway type does not support the CheckPoint Watch Tower mobile Apps. Firmware version: R81.10.07 "

Currently the applicable documentation only lists the following devices, refer:

I've submitted feedback requesting this be updated / checked as there are also newer 1500 series models available now.

I did not test it on a 1600, but on 1800 WT worked as with 1550 or 730. This is local management mode ? WT will not work with centrally managed SMBs.

But in sk168880 also Quantum Spark Appliances 1600 and 1800 Series are listed as supported, as it states:

I tried using it recently on locally managed 1600 and got exact same error, which logically tells me its not supported, but let us know what TAC says.

I just did replicate the issue on 1600 w Firmware version: R81.10.07

The gateway type does not support the CheckPoint Watch Tower mobile App

Thanks Chris, but sort of this is not the answer we want 😄 - We want the Watch Tower app to works in the spark family. Yesterday my client moved back from the 1600 to the 1590 just because this issue.

Yes, that's the issue we are experiencing now. Hope Check Point R&D release the fix ASAP. With the same speed they removed from this KB! Lol

Yes - they eventually did something.
