There is no supported procedure for this - only possible manually. Usually, no one changes from local to central management...

This could be of some help though:

Dear All,

Can you please advise how to transfer configuration of locally managed gateway into clean installation of management server?

Both installations are 81.10 versions.

The most important configuration for me is the network topology and VPN conf.

I'm out of the office and wondering what is going to happen when I change configuration from locally managed to central one.

My guess is that I would be cut off from vpn connection and network topology would go to factory defaults if there is no configuration in management server done in advance?

I'd appreciate any input 🙂

Best regards,

Marcin

Unfortunately, I am not aware of a way to convert a local SMB management configuration to central management short of by-hand.

I recall customer doing this few years ago and what we ended up doing was save the config file, connected the device to the management, but then topology and all the config in dashboard had to be done manually. TAC told us there was no script sadly that could be used to make this less "painful" ; - )
