So is there already R77.20.87 a build Jumbo Hotfix build 990173127??

Where do you see important updates and fixes ? Afaik this is only needed (very badly) if you use

Environments with AD Query configured as an Identity Source
Environments with the Identity Logging feature enabled

Check Point AD Query and Identity Logging features query the Microsoft Active Directory Security Event Logs.

So only such users needs this version...

Good @G_W_Albrecht ! So as SMB Specialist, what´s your advise! Build 3120 or 3127??

With SMB, the only criteria is the use of AD Query. If it is active, you will need Build 3127, if it is not used, you can stay on Build 3120 as there are no other fixes.

Keep in mind that this month is the End of Engineering support milestone for 700/1400 series appliances so future releases will be limited.

Consider upgrading to something capable of R81.10.xx where / when practical.
