topic SIM card exchange in Spark Firewall (SMB)

Hello,

My SIM card stopped working (it claims "not registered).

I want to replace it with a new SIM card from my provider.

The question is, can I do it while the device is on ? (in other words, is it capable of hot replacement ?) or I need to turn the device off, insert/replace the sim and turn on again ?

Thank you for your advice

You should be able to replace the card while the device is powered on.

You can check the status of the SIM card after replacement with the following command from clish:

’> show cellular-modem-status‘

You can use the following command from expert to reset the modem in the event the new card doesn’t get detected:

’# sw reset hard_usb‘
