Use LAN Port for WAN on Check Point 730

hi we have check point 730 appliance in that we have only one port Wan can we convert Lan to WAN port .?

First, please use the correct space to ask, which in this case, is SMB and SMP‌

In the latest firmware (R77.20.81), you can use LAN ports as WAN ports.

You may also use the DMZ port as a WAN port as well, which does not require a specific firmware version.

After you upgrade, these options shown in the Admin Guide: Managing the Device Internet section will be available.

i have 3 connection nearly 50 users

1st connection connected to Airtel ILL to the WAN

2 port connected to spectra net to DMZ 100 mbps

3 port connected to usb LAN ACT line 150 mbps but i am not able to that much speed from usb lan

so i thought to be connect with lan as WAN

Can u please suggest.

Before you can use a LAN port as a WAN port it must be unassigned from a switch.

Edit the Local Network switch and untick the box next to the LAN port you wish to use as a WAN.

You can then select that port as an option when creating a new Internet connection.
