how about the availability of a VDSL-version of the 15xx appliances ?

With 14xx there are some devices available, but htey are no more in the catalog.

The near future is here. A DSL option with the 1570-1590 Wi-Fi model is available for order in the product catalog. Some details can be found today in the 1500 datasheet and will be available on the support page sk157412 soon. It supports ADSL2 (Annex A or B) and VDSL2 (up to 17a).
