CheckPoint and WiFi MESH (802.11s)

Hi everyone,

I have a clent who has a WiFi Mesh infrastructure. He would like to gain visibility in the security aspect of the traffic between clients in this mesh WiFi network.

Is it possible to have a CheckPoint appliance (with WiFi i.e 1500 series) to interoperate in this Mesh network?

another solution is to implement another Mesh router - and then let this router connect to the CheckPoint Appliance for outgoing traffic, but then he looses security visibility in the traffic between devices connected to the WiFi network

You can use Monitor mode to keep an eye on the traffic in the flat network. This will not give you prevention capabilities, though.
