Hello,

I've recently taken over IT management for a small realtor as the last guy has had to move on to other things, and the office was using a SMB 600.

now I do not have any experience with Check Point products and we do not own any support packages for this device, but from what I have been able to find I believe the appliance is caught in a boot loop and unresponsive. I've read through some past support documents and believe that fresh firmware installed through USB may reset the device and bring it back to life. I found links to supporting firmware and have checked that the version is compatible, although upon attempting to download the Image I have found I am locked out.

If there was anyone who could provide support it would be greatly appreciated as we need the network back up and running to continue working.

Regards, Soren Pidgeon.

It is not enough to re-install, you also should have a valid license to run the box. You need to track down a UserCenter account where this box was licensed with. having access to it will also give you ability to download firmware.

I suggest contacting your local Check Point office and asking them to assist.

The device has a serial console (1115200 8n1).
You can confirm what's going on by watching the boot messages.
If you post them here we may be able to assist.

If they're running older versions of firmware, this won't necessarily resolve the issue as the Internal CA will fail to generate due to an epoch-related bug.
