What is the latest/recommended firmware version for CP 1430 appliance?

Hi guys,

I received my CP 1430 appliance and i am wondering what is the latest/recommended firmware version for CP 1430 appliance?

I am currently running below:

Appliance:Check Point 1430 Appliance (Checkpoint1430)

Security Management:Locally managed

Version (Firmware):R77.20.75 (990172321)

Another question is:

What is the best scenario to configure appliance behind cisco router?

The latest firmware is R77.20.87 build 2960.

thanks for your reply.

To answer your question - I want to configure redirection on Cisco router to have all my outgoing/incoming traffic inspected by CH before passed to Cisco Router to access internet. Meaning all my LAN users will be sitting behind CP. I don't want to CP device to worry about routing decisions other than default route to forward all incoming packets to forward them to Default Gateway.

I have done such similar design with Cisco Router and Cisco WSA and wondering if it can be achieved with CP device as well.

I figured it out last night it is working now behind cisco router. What i encounter now with drastic slow speed at LAN segment for outgoing traffic. I have 400Mbps symmetric fiber circuit from ISP. I was hitting around low 390Mbps before introducing CP in my infrastructure, now i am below 100Mbps at LAN segment.

How are you determining speed here?
What Software Blades are enabled (see Home > Overview > Security Dashboard)?
