We have a primary ISP with static internet connection and a secondary via PPPoE (with static IP, credentials are the same for both nodes). We want to use both of them at the same time.

Is it supported to use PPPoE with a Spark cluster.

I know it's not supported with regular GAiA but maybe Spark appliances or R82 on Spark appliances ?

Hi,
Can you please share PPPoE configuration within the cluster? Are both members connected to same ISP (same PPPoE credentials) or to different ISPs? Do you also have static Internet Connections?

Thanks.

Querying TAC on the following might be helpful here:

SMBGWY-2472

Configuring a Cluster Virtual IP address in a PPP interface is not supported, but the interface can still be monitored by ClusterXL.

Thanks for your reply.
This configuration is not supported. I suggest you will issue RFE so we can discuss the business justification and act accordingly.

It's not possible to configure the topology as monitored and with the same IP-address on both nodes.
