EOS schedule for R81.10.xx on Quantum Spark 1900 and 2000

Hi everyone,

I checked the Check Point Support Life Cycle Policy page,
but it only lists 1500 / 1600 / 1800 appliances under “R81.10.x supported until July 2026.”
There’s no mention of the 1900 or 2000 series.

We would like to know the official End of Support (EOS) date for R81.10 on the 1900 or 2000 model.

Does anyone know whether:

R81.10 for 1900 and 2000 follows the same EOS schedule (July 2026), or
It has a later EOS date, since 1900 and 2000 are newer models?

Any clarification or experience from others managing 1900 or 2000 appliances would be greatly appreciated.

Based on below, it would appear those appliances will support R81.10.xx and would follow same EOS, unless CP announces something different.

OK, understood — the Quantum Spark 1900/2000 would have the same EOS as the 1500 series on R81.10.xx, around July 2026.

There are two different factors here: The hardware and the software that runs on it.

The 1900/2000 are listed as "Active" meaning they don't currently have a defined End of Support/Life date.
Anything that is listed as Successor Product Available is expected to run a future version of R82.00.xx.

To address the issue of "R81.10.xx on the 1500 / 1600 / 1800", these appliances have limited RAM compared to a 1900 / 2000.
We ran into similar issues with an earlier generation of what are now Quantum Spark appliances, which is why some appliances were capped on the version they could run, even though there were later R77.20.xx releases available.

Which means that, until there's a notice to the contrary, you can assume that R81.10.xx will be actively supported on 1900 / 2000 appliances.
Having said that, I would not expect many more features to be added to R81.10.xx releases.
I also expect the End of Support date for R81.10.xx won't be announced until after R82.00.xx is available for the relevant platforms.

1900 and 2000 appliances are currently not visible in the catalog. Do you have any information about this?

I see it shows some blades for those appliances, but not appliances though. As Chris said, might be temporary, best to check with your local SE.

The devices have been added again, but they cannot be ordered because they are out of stock. 😞
