Quantum Spark: "expire license" shown on Smart-1 Cloud

Hello Team

we are using Quantum Spark connected to Smart-1 Cloud.
Initially, the environment was built with an evaluation license, and later switched to a production license.

However, once the evaluation license expired, the status on Smart-1 Cloud turned yellow and shows "expire license".

Setup: Quantum Spark (R81.20) + Smart-1 Cloud

License: Evaluation license → switched to production license

Issue: Smart-1 Cloud continues to show "expire license"

Current status:

On the Quantum Spark side (Gaia Embeded UI), the production license seems to be properly recognized

Official procedure sk179704 (using the
cplic
command) cannot be executed on Quantum Spark

On Quantum Spark, the
cplic
command is not available, and therefore sk179704 cannot be executed.
In this case, is there any procedure to clear the "expire license" status on Smart-1 Cloud?

If anyone has experienced the same situation, or knows of an official solution, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Did you try to disconnect the Spark from Cloud SMP and connect again ? That should fix the issue.

Hi @TSOL

If you are experiencing this on a centrally managed spark appliance, this was finally fixed by software side in our SR case.
I was informed by TAC/RnD that the existing workarounds are only temporary so the permanent fix is to upgrade the firmware.

Quantum Spark Gateway Displays Incorrect License Expiration Warning in Smart Console
https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk183900

I confirmed this fix is included in the latest GA replacement (R81.10.17 Build 996004721).
Since this is a gateway originated issue, I think it will work the same even with Smart-1 Cloud.

I tested on onprem and it worked like a charm 🙂
