topic 1575 DHCP Enable / Disable in Spark Firewall (SMB)

When i first installed our 1575 I was totally unfamiliar with all of its features. Now, after having worked with it for a while, I realize that I inadvertantly set it up with the DHCP server enabled. I wish to disable this from the command line with the set dhcp server interface <interface name> disable command. Couple questions regarding this action.

1. Our 1575 is the SPOC for our internet & disabling this will not interfere with it obtaining a DHCP address from our ISP correct?

2. I have a Ubiquity DM router that handles all of our wireless. ( I had this first before obtaining the 1575). My current configuration has the WAN port of the UDM fed from network port #8 of the 1575 on a separate 172* network which enables the UDM to check & obtain its hardware updates from the internet. The wireless clients on the UDM obtain their IP address from the 1575 via a second cable from the 1575 on network port #2 to the UDM network port #1.

My question: By disabling the DHCP server on the 1575, will this disable the static 172* IP set for the UDM that enables it to obtain its hardware updates? I would like to move the DHCP server to a L2 switch that has a simpler interface method for managing DHCP.

The DHCP server is enabled/disabled per-interface.
It also does not affect receiving a DHCP address on the WAN interface, nor does it affect any statically configured IPs on interfaces.
It will obviously prevent the system from assigning any IP addresses via DHCP (be they static or dynamic).
