VPN connection will disconnect

Hi All,

i am facing an issue which needs your help.

the symptom: in the vpn client, after creating site information, the first time trying to connect, the VPN will connect successfully, but the connection will only last a few seconds, then showing reconnecting. after that, if i try connecting again, then the vpn will get normally without any disconnections.

vpn client version: E84.30

What shows in the firewall logs when this happens?
And what version/JHF is the gateway?

Hi PB,

gateway is R80.40

from the logs on CP, i can see the client has dialed in, and permitted to login, no other error or drop information

A TAC case is probably a good idea here as client debugs will be necessary.

that's awsome that we just installed the newest hotfix r80.40 take 89 and restart the CP appliance, then VPN gets back to normal

I think there is an easy fix for this...there is an option somewhere on the gateway properties, I believe" to support enhancement for multiple external interfaces...dont ask me how that works, but I had seen it work many times in situations like this. I cant recall off the top of my head exactly where on gateway object it is, but look somewhere under vpn settings or office mode. Policy push is needed afterwards, of course.
