Calling-Station-ID in Radius authentication

Hey.

I am using a Windows NPS server, but a R81.10 Checkpoint firewall doesnt forward the Calling-Station-ID (Attribute 31) is it possible to set it up on a Checkpoint Firewall by any chance?

I have looked into the firewall many times, and cannot see anything in the Radius Authentication section at all. Only the Send_Framed_IP (but its reversed, and there is no hotfix for R81.10 yet)

Hope someone have a way to do it 🙂

Forward as in from a client behind FW to the server? That should work.

Revealing the origin IP of the authenticating remote access client in the radius accounting records was a feature enhancement, not sure of the current status.

Suggest enquiring with your local SE to show your interest in the same feature by raising an RFE.
