Hi ,

we have linux machines that we ditribute to our home users which each user connect to our network via checkpoint VPN and I am looking to use the "Vendor class id/ user class" with dhcp paramters for assiging my company policy . We configure the checkpoint office mode dhcp with our Windows dhcp server

I cant see that the client deliver this attribute to the dhcp server ( vendor class / user class ) and I cant even see hostname update or popliate in dhcp server .

please see attached .

We are using a ssl vpn via the browser .

Do you have any idea how can we configure that "vendor class / user class" will be forward to the dhcp server for those who work with VPN?

Regards

Itay
