Is it possible to run checkpoint vpn agent without an application installation in the linux OS?

Hi all,

In linux ubuntu 22.10, I cannot install applications. I am working on the terminal server.
Is there a way I can safely run the checkpoint vpn agent as code?

If you have control over the firewalls, you can always set them up to allow L2TP-over-IPSec. Every OS I've dealt with in at least 15 years comes with a client capable of that. Not sure if non-root users can configure VPNs on Linux, but it would at least eliminate the requirement to install additional software.
