Secure Remote VPN connect page

Our customer is deploying the new version of the agent: 98.61.5506

What is happening on this version is when they click the start menu icon, it says "check point von is already running" then they have to go and right click the system tray icon and select connect.

On the old version, running the shortcut went straight to the login screen. Is there any way to change the behaviour on the new verson?

the users are struggling as the shortcut they have always used no longer works like it used to

Do not know if this will help but in Endpoint Security Client you have an option so set double click on icon to connect

Unfortunately not quite what we needed (actually the double click seemed to work without the reg hack).

Basically if the vpn is already running in system tray, when you click the start menu nothing happens. (or you get told its already running) . The older client when you click the start menu icon, if it was running in tray the login/connect page would come up.
