Hi,

as soon as I got my checkpoint client running against a company vpn at least once it somehow changes my OS host system in that way that my Macbook is not pingable or reachable via vnc anymore - of course I also tried after exiting checkpoint completely.

I think the reason is somehow the organzational policy of the last used vpn. If I deinstall the checkpoint client, everything run as I expect it (vnc and icmp is reachable). I don't want to reinstall the client every day, so is there a better option?

Regards

This is most likely the result of the desktop firewall policy set by your IT security staff.

You can ask them to change the policy to allow the necessary traffic.
