Reverse lookup to VPN client in office mode failed

I have some application require to check domain client by reverse lookup IP address to hostname. When client connect from outside by remote access this application cannot reverse to check hostname.

Could you please advice to resolve this isse ?

* no this issue on Cisco Anyconnect and Palo Alto Global Protect.

I believe this is a function of the DNS server the client is using.

What DNS server is being sent to the client?

Also which flavor/version of he VPN client do you have installed?

windows - Reverse DNS records not registered when using DHCP - Server Fault

But not sure why no this issue for Cisco Anyconnect and Palo Alto Global Protect.

I'm guessing we don't set that parameter by default and they do.

I assume you're setting this on the VPN interface, right?

Yes, but no this setting on VPN interface for Anyconnect and Global protect too.
