I believe the saved files are stored locally on the phone in this case.
I would think this wouldn't cause an issue to change the Exchange server, but maybe it did.
In any case, recommend engaging with the TAC.

Hi

We have migrated users accounts recently from old exchange 2010 to new one 2016 . I've made changes in "Mobile access" policy now it points to exchange 2016 instead of 2010 and people reporting that they have lost files in "Saved files" folder. The emails flow is working fine, no issues. My question is where these files are stored locally on the phone or on exchange server? How to bring those files back to users ?

thanks

Marcin
