Hi,

running R80.30. Noticed the following... I have a web application link (http://whatever) configured on the mobile access portal.

I noticed that when you click on that link, the performance is a lot slower then when you open a new tab on your browser, and simply enter the http://whatever address. Basically, for us it's unusable. Are there settings to improve this? Or is this 'by design'?

Mobile access portal can have some performance drawbacks, due to user level SSL encryption on the FW. When you say, "open your browser", you mean connection directly and not through portal?

That said, a performance drag should not be "unusable" in any case. I would suggest you to work with your local office or with your partner to assess the situation.

To put it clearly...

1. mobile vpn -> normal speed

2. connect to portal, open a new tab in browser and enter link -> somewhat slower

3. connect to portal, click in web application link on the portal page -> slow (unusable)

I would suggest to contact TAC ! Do you want to replace mobile vpn by MAB blade ?
