If any of you may know someone looking for remote work, I would be happy to connect. I had been out of work 3 months now and never did I think it would be so difficult to get a new job. Im located in Ottawa, Canada.

I’m currently still on sick leave, which is why I haven’t been around in the community.

I’m also not completely sure if this is the right place for a post like this, but I just wanted to say that I’m really sorry to see you going through this, and I truly wish you all the best with your job search.

I assume that you already tried to apply for opened positions in Checkpoint itself via Career Opportunities at Check Point Software. There are 242 opened positions at the moment.

Yes, it’s sad.
I don’t know what the situation is like in other countries. As far as Germany is concerned, I feel nothing but anger when I look at the financial situation of many large corporations and their efforts to relocate jobs to low-wage countries under the pretext of some flimsy doomsday arguments.
