The ability to mix appliance types in Maestro is planned to become available in R81.10, which is currently in public EA. Perhaps there is a workaround for prior releases, you may want to hit up the Solutions Center via your Check Point SE.

Hello CheckMates,

one of our customer started Maestro with 6800 appliances at the beginning of 2019.

Now the solution should be extended by more appliances but 6800 are out of sale since Dec 2020. Other appliances are available but support for different hardware in the same SG is still not supported.

Any ideas how to overcome this limitation?

Wolfgang

Sometimes we still have old stock of the older appliances/accessories, which given how recent this is, may still be the case here.
An inquiry can be placed through Partner Alliance.
Otherwise, wait for R81.10 or participate in the EA.
