Hello,

Is it allowed to update CPUSE Agent on MHO's running R81.20 or higher?

In sk92449 we can find info:

To upgrade a Scalable Platform from R81.10 or R81.20 to R82, you must install the CPUSE Deployment Agent build 2550 or higher from this SK article.

but in sk181140:

The Maestro platform supports only specific Deployment Agent (DA) Takes, not the general DA.

Where is true? As I remember in the past it was strict prohibition to do it on maestro environment.

BR

I would follow: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk92449

Because the upgrade guide also refers to this SK. The other SK you linked is also for older version that you might get this error.

Check upgrade guide here:

You upgrade the DA when the upgrade instructions tell you to. On R82 and higher you just use the normal GA CPUSE.

Secretly, just between us, you can use the normal GA DA build on R81.20 any time on MHOs. I've done JHF updates and version updates with the GA one already installed, it works great and it's better at cleaning up old DA packages than the old custom build.
