topic Security Group Trial License in Hyperscale Firewall (Maestro)

Our client is facing an imminent license expiration, and I am concerned that we won't be able to complete the renewal on time. In that event, we might need to install a Trial License on the device first to avoid impacting the client's usage.

I am aware that a Product Evaluation option is available on the Check Point website, but it seems to only apply to a Central License.

However, the client's environment is Maestro (Version R82) , and to my knowledge, the license installation method for a Security Group is always Local.

Therefore, I would like to know what the best course of action is currently?

Additionally, I would like to inquire about the Evaluation Blade option I saw in the Product Center, as shown in the image.
I am not sure if this method is applicable to the Security Group?

I don't know about the eval option screenshotted there, but if you generate a normal eval and don't supply the management server IP when creating it, it will appear in your user centre account and you can license it normally as a local license. If your security group is running R81.20 or higher you can license it to the management IP and apply it with g_cplic put to avoid having to do a separate eval for each SGM.
