How do I recover the MHO140 admin password ?

Hi,

I have a used MHO140 and I need to reset it.

The simplest way is to boot the appliance and press CTRL+C and Select Restore to Factory Defaults.

But I would like to learn more about how to do MHO140 admin password recovery.

Is there any procedure to do MHO140 admin password recovery ?

It's the same as any Gaia system - you won't be able to retrieve the current admin password (I hope!), you might find a way to reset it with a live boot CD (https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk163461), but the simplest way is just to factory default the system and start again.
