Hello everyone!

We have encountered an issue with unavailability of various SGM members. In messages files we have noticed the following messages:

kernel:pci 0000:00:11.0: device has non-compliant BARs; disabling IO/MEM

The lspci output indicates that this is an Intel C620 chipset:
00:11.0 Unassigned class [ff00]: Intel Corporation C620 Series Chipset Family MR OM 0 (rev 09)

Please tell me how important is this chipset in the checkpoint hardware? Does anyone know about its functions in the system?

I will be grateful for any help!

I think that chipset is a core part of the system, though I'm not sure if that line in the messages file means anything too much. Probably best to get a TAC case going if you have SGMs becoming unavailable. Make sure to upload the output of 'hcp -r all -m all' and any recent core dumps that might be on any of the SGMs to the case.

I think it's the main chipset that supports the processor, but I don't know for sure. It's not a Check Point part, it's a standard Intel chipset.

The chipset is critical to the system. It provides the low-speed I/O such as the SATA channels and USB ports.

That message is from a Linux kernel feature added in 2016 to support better indirection for copying data between main memory and a PCIe device's memory. It's mostly used for variable-size copies to video cards. It isn't relevant for use as a firewall.
