Not Getting Output through GAIA API on Maestro SMO running as VSX Gateway

SMO is VSX gateway running on R81.10 Jumbo Take87.

how to get output of following commands through Script via MDS SmartConsole or API call ?

asg_route

asg_config show

Scripts from SmartConsole to VSX is not supported on maintain and maestro.

you can run it from the gateway directly but not form SmartConsole

When I try to run the command "asg_route" from the SmartConsole one-time script to an SMO, it fails after a time, by timing out and does not give me any more information. A command gclish -c "asg_route" similarly fails. If I try from a Web API call "run-script", again same timeout.
