We are about to launch an EA program for R80.30 based GW with new kernel (3.10).

This will allow all those customers looking at newer Open Servers with new CPUs to actually try them out with Gaia and R80.30 GW code.

IPv6 & VSX are also supported in this EA.

@Linor_Leshem would be very interested in hearing from you!

Thanks,

Is R80.30 currently planned to require use of the 3.10 kernel for both SMS and gateway? Or will 2.6.18 still be supported for R80.30?

Is this now a Public EA?

We're looking to test installation on a Dell R740 server.

When will Check Point support GAIA Kernel 3.x on CP badged gateway appliance? I was hoping (expecting?) that R80.30_EA would include CP gateway appliance support.
At min, I would like to join Y2K (or 2019) and run journaling filesystem on CP gateways.
