Nobody in my company knows what password it is asking for.

Desperation level - high.

Hi Trevor,

I believe your options are the following:

1) Use the default password "secret" just in case.

2) Follow sk115295 to see if it works.

3) Rebuild the machine if all else fails.

I checked my registry, and there wasn't an entry for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security.

So I made one anyway, and then added in the entries for the values "UninstPwdHashDA" and "UninstPwdSaltDA" (d-word) and set the value to either 1 or 0 (can't remember which one, as the un-install worked and then deleted the registry key!

thanks i installed only the endpoint for error and the "secret" worked
