Update appliance 1490 os R77.20.70 to R77.30 or R80?

Hello,
I have a checpoint 1490 appliance with OS R77.20.70. my question is :
is it possible to install the R77.30 or the R80 on the 1490 while keeping the licenses of the active blades?

1400 appliances have Gaia Embedded and versioning is different from the main releases. The latest is R77.20.75.

The answer is: A 1490 SMB appliance can be upgraded to firmware version R77.20.75 (the currently newest one) and centrally managed by a R77.30 or R80.10 SMS. This will give you more possibilities than a local management and let you use some features of R77.30 or R80.10. Also see the CheckMates discussion here Gaia Embedded - R80.10.

BTW: Can you please move this question to SMB and SMP where it does belong ?
