R77.30 had a binocular icon on top left corner to search objects on MDS level and same icon on policy page to search any item on that page such as comments which was helpful as regular search bar on policy page does not search comments. Is there a way on R80.10 to do same?

Hi Dameon,

In 77.30 there was a binocular feature in MDS window on top left corner to search objects from global domain to all sub domain such as looking firewalls objects or any other objects that are present to see which domain they might be in when searching. That seem to be missing in 80.10 version. Policy screen had a binocular icon to search any text that was present on policy screen such as comments which in 77.30 was not searchable from search field on policy screen. However, after testing and verifying 80.10 let you search text in comment field so that is good. Hope this helps.

So it's the cross-CMA searching you're saying is missing, correct?

Yes. searching for an object from main MDS to see where a object may reside.

It's planned, yes, but I don't believe the exact timelines have been finalized.
