topic OSPF route behavior changes after upgrading to Check Point R82.10 JHF 40? in General Topics

Hi everyone,

We recently upgraded from R81.20 JHF 92 to R82.10 JHF 40, and we are encountering an issue with OSPF routing post-upgrade.

Specifically, OSPF is failing to operate properly and is attempting to route traffic to an incorrect subnet. Rolling back to R81.20 immediately resolves the issue, and everything returns to normal.

We’ve tried both direct upgrades and a clean build of R82.10 JHF 40 with the exact same configuration, but the unexpected OSPF behavior persists.

Has anyone experienced any issues when upgrading between these versions? Also, has anyone run into similar OSPF or routing table behavior changes after moving to R82.10? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
