Hey brother,

I could be mistaken when I say this, but Im fairly positive its not automatic, specially if it shows up in validation pane. I would safely remove it, specially if not used.

Hi Mates,

The customer reported that we are facing two validation warnings in SmartConsole. It seems the related objects are still present on the management side, while they have already been deleted in AWS.

Can I safely remove these datacenter objects from SmartConsole?

Also, shouldn’t this process be automatic? It sounds like something may not be working as expected, unless I’m missing something.

Thanks in advance.

Please share screenshot. You can maybe right click the object and use ''where used'' feature to see if it is in use by a policy. If it is not in use in any policy rule then it is not needed anymore

Both datacenter objects are currently unused, but my question is: shouldn’t the object removal process be automatic once the resources are deleted from AWS?

from security point of view that would be a strange situation. The creation of the datacenter object also needs manual actions on the check point management side. I would not like that AWS can automatically delete something on my firewalls. Not even to mention that changes require policy push
