Firewall Visibility Dashboard

Hi everybody,

I would like to focus on a Visibility topic here which related to Firewall Visibility and monitoring.

I want to show my Firewall components on a separate Display/Dashboard to have a proper Visibility:

- CPU Usage, Memory & Storage Info

- Link Status (Power, bond, sync) of members (active, standby, backup)

- How are my Firewalls performing?

The goal is to have a display in front of me to update me about health status, performance, usage, etc. of my devices.

I assume we would not go for third party tools (SolarWinds, PRTG etc).

What are you talking about? A self made web based Dashboard created by any script using standard CP methods? Or any Dashboard inside the SmartConsole? Maybe as extension? What is it about exaclty. More input please. 🙂

Smartconsole GATEWAY & SERVERS tab provides some level of Visibility but it is not interactive. One has to shift here and there to see things. What you proposed can also help but how?
Which one is better idea, self-made Dashboard or Checkpoint-provided solutions (if any exists).

Agreed, Skyline does most of what you're after, but it is a third party/OSS thing (relying on OpenTelemetry with Prometheus and Grafana). This is a feature though, as your other kit can hook into this as well, it's an open standard that many things support.

have you considered to use Infinity AIOPS? You could set alert, and if you also use Playblocks you could configure action based on particular events.

Will it monitor the assets from Infinity (Online)? I would prefer a localized monitoring instead of sending too much traffic outside.

It work online from Infinity Portal, and it's like Skyline; as I understood, AIOPS is the evolution of Skyline.

For a localized monitor, as reported in the previous threads, the solution is Skyline (unless you want to take a look to Zabbix for example).
