Strange error in SmartConsole

Hello all,

I'm experiencing a rather strange error in SmartConsole.

When I click the +-sign in the Services & Applications column for a rule and search for 'https' SmartConsole crashes. If I search for something else like 'ftp', it works.

FTP (no issue):

HTTPS (it hangs shortly and then crashes):

I've tried reinstalling SmartConsole, but that only fixed it momentarily.

Any ideas? It's driving me nuts! 🙂

It did not happen in my lab with this build.

If still happens with the new build released today (671) open a ticket with Check Point Support.

Thanks. Installed and so far it works. I'll test throughout the day and tomorrow and keep you posted.

Good call. Thats always the first thing I try if this issue was to ever happen. Its also worth confirming if you have same problem on other PCs where same smart console build is installed. For what is worth, make sure you have the latest net framework version installed, that also could be the issue.
