This is a "Deleted" SK with the note that this information is in the relevant admin guide.
However, I'll admit I'm having trouble finding it.
In any case, if you go to "Process specific file type families" you can see the list and disable specific file extensions.

Hi,

How do you know what file types are known to contain malware? What is the list?

As mentioned in the one liner "Process file types known to contain malware" within Anti-Virus settings of the Profile it assumes we know the list. I can't seem to find the source of the file types known to contain malware.

It is basically the default list shown when opening Process specific file types families

See sk142552 - https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk142552

How to get a list of file types analyzed by Anti-Virus when selecting "Process file types known to contain malware" in the Threat Prevention Profile
