Hey everyone,

Our check point cluster (management server + 2x check point 6700 firewalls) are running R81.10 JHF T177. We are using the following features:

Networking (Access Control):

- Firewall

- Application Control

- URL Filtering (i am not really sure, if we have just the blade enabled but not really using URL filtering)

Thread Prevention (Custom)

- IPS

- Anti-Bot

- Anti-Virus

The following license subscription is expiring soon:

CPSB-NGTP-6700-PLUS-1Y

Now what we want to know is, what will occur at the date, when the license expires. When we install policy, we get a warning that one or more access blades will expire (URL Filtering and Application Control) and that blades will become deactivated and all policy rules using it will be affected.

The following sk says, that there ist a 90 days grace peroid after the application control blade license expires in R81.10 JHF Take 93 and above: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk56300

Can anyone confirm that? What about the Firewall and URL Filtering Blade, IPS, Anti-Bot and Anti-Virus?

We have ordered new Firewalls but it will take about 40-60 days after the license expiry on our check point until the old ones will get replaced with the new ones.

Thanks a lot for your help!

The basic firewall blade does not expire, nor does IPsec VPN.
App Control and URL Filtering have 90 days per sk56300.
IPS is 90 days per sk44175.
I can't find a reference for Anti-Virus and Anti-Bot, but I believe it's also 90 days.
