Most likely you're going to have to use guidbedit to do this.
Otherwise, I suggest TAC.

Hi

I have 4 dns objects created:

192.168.120.1
192.168.120.2
192.168.120.3
192.168.120.4

When i right click on 192.68.120.1 and 2 and click on "where used" one of the places that shows up is the MAIN_FW gateway object. So i click on the gateway object to see where it's used but i cannot see it anywhere. The only objects i can see are the ones for 192.168.120.3 and 4 n=under mobile access and name resolution option on the left.

Is there any way i can find out how objects for 192.168.120.1 and 2 are associated with the MAIN_FW gateway object?

Thanks

How to open guidbedit:

https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk13009

Then follow steps here do detect what object is locked:

https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk127232

This will give you a hint in what window DNS still is used.

My guess will be in a blade that used to be enabled and now is disabled. DNS config is still there but blade options are hidden. Workaround then is to enable blade, go to the option and remove dns server and then disable blade again.

I would agree with the guys, guidbedit sounds like the most logical place to look.

Hi,

Is VPN Clients configured and are you using Office Mode? If so, maybe your DNS servers are configured to be used when Office Mode IP-addresses are assigned to the client.

On the gateway object check:

VPN Clients -> Office Mode -> Optional Parameters

Regards,
Martijn
