Cannot activate license/blade

Hi, i am trying to do some lab with Check Point R81.20 in Ev ng but i am having issues activating the license since the blades are still grayed out in the GUI. I requested for the "All in ONE " license and i activated the license via the CLI and it was successful and i was told to reboot the system. I rebooted and when i login to the GUI i still see that the blades are grayed out. Anyone knows what i am missing or doing wrong?

Message me directly, I can send you an eval to try. I only saw reboot needed for license activation on Fortigate firewalls, not on any other, ever.

cplic print output would be helpful, suspect the cpsm portion is applied rather than cpsg.

There are two license strings provided with the All-In-One eval: one for the management functionality and one for the gateway functionality.
cplic print should show both licenses if they've been installed.

I believe those are ones I sent you offline. Did you try install policy after to make sure it works?

Apologies, the community spam filter has its share of false positives.

Is 10.197.20.166 associated with one of the physical interfaces in the VM?
This is required for the license strings to be valid.

Hey everyone,

Just to update quick, had phone conversation with @gailao since we were not able to do remote and I guided him in fixing api status on mgmt server. Appears below file was missing, so sent him one from my lab, though version on his end is R81.20

/opt/CPsuite-R82/fw1/api/conf/mgmt_api_profile_settings.xml

Once it was copied, api stop/start worked and it showed successful.

He will test smart console access tomorrow and let us know if all works okay.
