R81.10 upgrade

Hi All

We are looking to upgrade our Checkpoint management server and gateways from R81.10.

I see R82 has been out since Oct, however when I look on the Checkpoint website, it says the recommended release is R81.20

Which one should we migrate to guys?

My understanding is that we will be declaring R82 Recommended in the very near future.

Here is the best advice I can give personally...I would say based on the lab testing I had done and considering few customers who use S1C management, I would 100% upgrade management ONLY for now to R82 and leave gateways to R81.20. That seems to work very well, had not seen any issues at all.

My lab:

mgmt -> R82 jumbo 12

cluster -> R81.20 jumbo 99

single gw -> R81.20 jumbo 99

dedicated smart event -> R81.20 jumbo 99

We are starting it this week, I think we are going to go with R81.20 for now, so we have the same everywhere.

Capsule Workspace is End of Life and the issue can be fixed by upgrading the relevant gateway to R82.
