Restrict file transfer over Microsoft RDP service

Dear Checkmates,

I have a requirement wherein any transfers done during an RDP session should be blocked and logged. I've already tried searching for the RDP in application/categories but didn't find anything.

Is there a way that I can achieve this using custom application or something ?

Can you clarify your requirement?

Are you looking to prevent users from copying data from an RDP session to their local computer? You can just disable clipboard / drive redirection with a Microsoft GPO to prevent that.

Via the network, not likely.
However, you should be able to restrict this via GPO on the relevant RDP servers.
I believe this is also possible if providing RDP access via Mobile Access Blade (via Guacamole) and/or Harmony SASE.
