topic Issue with fwkern.conf not loading int encrypt_non_gw_rdp_ike 1 in General Topics

In a Check Point Firewall 3000 running R81.10, I have configured the fwkern.conf file with the following two commands:

int encrypt_non_gw_rdp_ike 1

ike_in_separate_daemon=0

After reboot, the setting ike_in_separate_daemon=0 is applied successfully, but int encrypt_non_gw_rdp_ike 1 remains at its default value.

For now, I have resolved the issue by creating a custom script that I added to /etc/rc.local. While everything is currently functioning correctly, I would like to understand why the fwkern.conf file is not applying the int encrypt_non_gw_rdp_ike 1 setting after reboot.

I assume it should be listed as

encrypt_non_gw_rdp_ike=1

See: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk106309
