Hi All,

Based on Health Check Script (sk121447) - healthcheck.sh, I used it to generate a health report for my Checkpoint Security Gateway. Is it possible to generate historical health reports for example for the past 3 months or 3 weeks. And beside sk121447 is there a way to get health reports ?

FYI I'm specifically interested in obtaining historical reports for RAM, CPU, and HDD usage.

Thanks

If I want to generate health report from January2024-May2024 what will be the syntax ?

To my knowledge it's not a feature of the old script itself you have to rely upon the cpview history/data as others mentioned (refer: sk101878). Even then I'm not sure the usual script output would present it in a useful way taking into account things like trends etc

./healthcheck.sh -f example.info -f CPViewDB.dat

It will not be able to create a report. You could export the month recorded

[Expert@GW1:0]# cpview -s stat
CPView services running
[Expert@GW1:0]# cpview -s export
Exporting
Exported file to '/var/log/cpview_export/exported_db_2024_10_14_14_35_39.gz'

This is an SQLight database containing all information the history mode collects.

Hi,

sounds more like an external (monitoring) tool. Just to name one: https://www.observium.org/

CPU, Disk and traffic can also be reviewed via SmartConsole | Monitor (if you selected the monitoring blade)

Regards
