MDSM How to convert Global Objects into Local Objects

Hi,,

on a MDSM R81.20:

There are Global Objects in the Global Policy. These objects are assigned to the local domains.

There is a need to convert Global Objects into local objects to phase out the Global Policy/Object approach.

Is there a tool to convert the objects so that the Global Policy can be decommissioned on the mid term?

Are the domain database referenced to the global database?

Not aware of any conversion tools here beyond a manual process.

(Copy object, decline warning message that IP address is already in use, publish, push)

No sure if this makes fun with 4K of nested objects.

Fairly certain you could accomplish this with a little scripting with the API.
