Hi All,

We have Checkpoint R81.10 and use custom application/site category objects to allow or block URLs. I've noticed that even if a URL already exists, adding it again doesn't generate a duplicate URL error message, unlike when creating network or host objects. Is this expected behavior, or am I missing something?

Thanks

Do you use simple URLs or RegEx ?

As far as I know, this is expected behavior.
For host and service objects, there are matching implications even when not explicitly used in the policy.
Custom Application/Site objects do not have this property.
