Hi Chris

The use-case is VPN tunnels to Zscaler.

The need is to monitor VPN reachability for an http request, and be able to fail-over to a secondary VPN.

The last time I checked this was not yet available. see kb:

Currently, it's not supported except in a specific customer release.

This is done through dead peer detection or DPD. This is the same technique as Permanent tunnels but then a industry standard. When the third party supports DPD you can monitor the peer, see SK108600 item #5
